Blog Has Begun!!!

Soooooo Anywho you may all know me as Sk8rccd, My name is Jesse but i really prefer to be called Jez or The Jez (as people tended to call me for the greater part of the last 5 years)

Anyway, I figured since I have a growing friend/fan base and several comics that I am working on, I should have a Blog.

Reasons why i have an off-site blog:
1. myspace is the root of all FUCKING evil! this is proved many times over. I was on it from the beta version but after some events of immaturity by people i once thought to call "friend" i decided i didn't really want to deal with all the drama that myspace entails.

2. I'm reserving my journal updates on deviantart for art-related updates on collabs and trades and other DA-specific themes. Plus when i feature something on my journal i like it to remain up for a month due to increasing numbers of pageviews i'm getting. I like getting other people's names out there!

3. Smackjeeves just plain does not have a blog function.. they need to, but they don't!

so for all of my comics and all the pages that i am monitoring online, i will be posting this blog about my life, my art, my friends, my opinions and my updates.

OK now that is out of the way here's today's post:

Blah! Work today is sucking to high hell! The people that call in to bug me are seemingly increasing in stupidity... granted not quite as bad as the people who call tech support companies, but they certainly are not fun >.<

Dylan (lucky lil bastard) went to vegas with Moose (andrew) to celebrate Moose's 21st birthday. Sadly i was not invited directly and i figured even if they had invited me by default (as in invited dylan expecting me to tag along since i'm with him everywhere he goes) i'd rather not show up and have all parties feel uncomfortable that i was not invited and decided to show up anyway. It hurts that i was not invited but it would hurt even more if i showed up at the hotel and they gave me that "what the hell are YOU doing here" look. therefore... i'm not in vegas.

So i will be the only one on my row for 2 days consecutively so i guess i'll be doing a lot of reading and writing... I miss dylan already...

but enough moping! on to greater subjects!!!

I'm thinking of doing some more duets with myself and since i have not heard from the band i was supposed to be a part of for several weeks even almost 2 months now i figure i should look for a new band. I'm almost completely sure i will not be able to do punk rock again so i'l probably look for an alternative rock or indy group since that seems to be what my vocals entail.

i'm working on the 5th page of Lexus' story (www.lexusstory.smackjeeves.com) and i'm hoping to have it done by the end of tonight. I'm also working on a new page for tatsu-aoyu (www.tatsu-aoyu.smackjeeves.com). I seem to have reached a block once again (sigh) for Out of eternity... (www.outofeternity.smackjeeves.com) this is super sad cause i've been working on the story since 9th grade (for thosse of you who do not know me personally that's about 7 years >.< ) but every time i sti down to do it it has more and more that needs to be added to the begining and i wish i could just make it into a damn movie so that i wouldn't have to worry about drawing the complex crap that goes with the story.

for some reason i have some real troubles with making this story into a book, or a manga.. but anywho, no one really watches that comic anyway.

ok so i need to get back to work and finish this stack of paperwork before i get off at midnight.
